You prepay for a block of credits (starting at $50), and credits are deducted only when you monitor patent-product combinations. Your prepaid credits don’t expire unless your account is inactive for 12 months.
No - prepaid credits remain in your account until used, unless there is no activity in your organization for 12 consecutive months.
Yes! You can top up your credits whenever you like. Low-balance email alerts will also remind you when you're running low, so you never miss critical monitoring.

Private data is only used if you choose to upload it - for example, unpublished patents, provisional filings, or confidential product documents. IP8 uses a combination of internally trained models and trusted enterprise-grade generative AI from Microsoft Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock Anthropic. All internal models are hosted within IP8’s private cloud, and we do not send your data directly to third-party providers like OpenAI or Anthropic.
