IP8 was designed to bring speed, accuracy, and clarity to infringement analysis by automating what had traditionally been a manual and error-prone process. Instead of painstakingly reviewing product specifications, identifying relevant patents, and comparing claims line by line, IP8 streamlined the workflow by extracting claim elements, suggesting potentially infringing products, and mapping them side by side against product features. This not only improved precision but also saved teams significant time that would otherwise have been spent on repetitive charting and document review.

Through its three key sections-Portfolio, Products, and Mapping-IP8 enabled users to set up patents for analysis, add or import product information, and generate Overlap Scores with detailed claim charts that clearly highlighted similarities. During the session, we showcased IP8 in action through a live infringement case study, demonstrating how smart automation transformed infringement detection into a faster, clearer, and more reliable process.
